Fundraising is the gentle art of teaching the joy of giving. – Henry Rosso
We are excited to announce our new Camp Wamp location at at Deer Lake in the High Sierras near Lake Tahoe, California. Click here for the specifics on the PR Web Wire. Now the work begins. We are taking donations for making Camp Wamp accessible for all Camp Wampers.
This summer 2017 the Stephen J Wampler Foundation will spend the summer of 2017 retrofitting and renovating making the facilities which will require additional resources. The project includes a 129-acre property that hosts 17 buildings and a 9 acre lake.
When the new Camp Wamp is renovated and accessible it will host Camp Wampers in the summer of 2018. Camp Wamp will service children with conditions such as Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy and Spina Bifida. The joy Camp Wamp brings to these children is amazing. Lifetime memories that have a tremendous impact on Camp Wampers lives.
With your help we can accomplish our goal in creating more lifetime memories as seen in the following Camp Wamp 2017 Video.
This new campsite gives the Stephen J Wampler Foundation the opportunity to expand access to this important life experience to campers called Camp Wampers from all over the United States and even the world. This is an exciting time for the Stephen J Wampler Foundation. We are excited to work with the Girl Scouts in the very near future.
The new camp is the latest endeavor for the Wampler Foundation to inspire the world. Stephen J Wampler Foundation is seeking donations from individuals, corporations and other foundations to retrofit and make Camp Wamp accessible for all Camp Wampers.
We have created a registry for items needed for Camp Wamp as well as monetary donations.
